Internships are everywhere. Yet too often, they are unstructured, inconsistent, and lack clear learning outcomes. Many organizations rely on experience, assumptions, or good intentions rather than research-informed design.
We saw an opportunity to bring a more intentional, evidence-based, and equitable approach to internships—one that benefits students, employers, and communities.
